Radiation Shield, Mobile, Adjustable Height, 1" lead
INTRODUCTION
The Adjustable Height Mobile Radiation Shield puts shielding where it is needed. Roll into place, secure the wheels and adjust to the desired height. Panel can be height adjusted within a 4.5" range. Wheel and swivel locks on each caster provide secure placement.
OPERATION
Roll the shield into position between the technologist and administered patient. Secure the shield in place by pressing down with your foot on any of the four swivel lock caster brake levers.

To Raise the Shield

1. Loosen both shield locking knobs (one at each end of the shield).

2. Ensure the pump knob, located at the base of the pump, is fully tightened.

3. Pull out on both locking pins, one at each end of the shield, to allow the shield to be raised. You must continue to hold the locking pins out so that the shield will be lifted to the next incremental setting.

4. Press down with your hand or foot on the raised end of the shield height adjustment lever, located on the pump. The shield will rise in small incre ments as you continue to pump the lever.

5. Tighten the shield locking knobs.

 

 

To Lower the Shield

1. Loosen both shield locking knobs (one at each end of the shield).

2. Loosen the pump knob, located at the base of the pump.

3. Pull out on both locking pins, one at each end of the shield, to allow the shield to be lowered. You must continue to hold the locking pins out so that the shield will lower to the next incremental setting.

4. Press down with your hand or foot on the raised end of the shield height adjustment lever, located on the pump. The shield will be lowered in small increments as you pump the lever. it will lock in position when you release the locking pins.

5. Tighten the shield locking knobs.
